My fortune is "Friends long absent are coming back to you". I decided to do two hands reaching for each other because to me it represents two people that haven't seen each other in a while finally reuniting. I am also not using crayons or colored pencil to color these hands in. I decided to use oil pastels to smudge my own fingerprints to color it. The reason I chose fingerprints is because they are a lot like friends. They are with you your whole life. You will never forget a great friend, and just like your fingerprints they never truly change in your eyes. I think the most difficult part of this project will be coloring it in. Using nothing but my fingerprints can be time consuming. I will also have to make sure that the smudges don't go outside the lines. I am now done with this project and I am very happy. It looks good and I am happy with my effort. I am glad I made my last project for this class was my best.
